LETTER FROM PASTOR BRAD FUSSELL
Greetings from Pastor Brad,
We are extremely glad to see everyone in person again!
In accordance with the CDC recommendations, we have guidelines for everyone to follow. We understand that not everyone will agree with all they are asked to do, but let's set aside our own opinions and desires for the good of others, and let's worship God together. If you do not feel like you should attend services yet, please stay at home and we will be having our 11am service online live for you to be a part of.
Here are the guidelines as we understand how they apply to our circumstances and our building. We are asking everyone to abide by these guidelines for the health and safety of others:
If you are sick or in a high-risk category, please stay home.
Please maintain at least six feet distance from anyone else unless they live in your home. This applies especially as you are entering and exiting the building, during seating, and as you fellowship. Please follow signage and instructions for entrance and seating. Please do not hug or shake hands.
Wash your hands thoroughly before leaving home and plan to use sanitizer before entering the sanctuary. The church will provide sanitizer near the main entrance.
In the context of loving our brothers and sisters in the Lord who may be vulnerable and knowing we may be going over and beyond the minimums of safety and while we understand there are many opinions on wearing a mask, we want everyone to wear a mask while in the building. Hopefully, we can drop this requirement soon. If you have a mask, please bring it; if not, the church will provide one.
5. In the interest of maximizing capacity, you may be directed to a particular seat in order to best utilize available space.
6. Children's Church is available for kids age 5-12. All others must sit with their families.
7. We only want one person at a time in the bathroom. Downstairs bathrooms will be available for extra space when needed.
We will not have Sunday School, Nursery, or Sunday Night Bible Study to begin with. We will add these when we feel it can be done safely.
We will not be passing the offering plate during the service. For your convenience, offering plates are on the table at the front of the sanctuary and an offering box is located at the back of the sanctuary in front of the sound booth.
Again, let me ask you to fully cooperate with these guidelines even if you do not agree with them. We are only trying to protect everyone from COVID-19. Concentrations of people are the worst places for spreading the virus, so we want to minimize the risk.
If you have any questions please contact me, Pastor Brad.
During this very difficult and stressful time, when we all have different opinions about many things going on in our country right now, let’s be kind and loving to each other. Let’s not let our differences cause any division among us. I want to share three important Scriptures that we need to follow very closely during this time.
Eph 4:29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Php 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, Php 2:4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
Rom 14:19 Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.
God bless you and we hope to see you soon.
